The orientation program is designed to help students feel prepared and confident as they begin their studies. During orientation, students receive an overview of their academic program, including attendance expectations, academic progression standards, and key student policies. The session also covers conflict-resolution processes, workplace rights in British Columbia, and guidance on understanding local living expenses, housing options, and tenant protections.
In addition to essential academic and settlement information, students are introduced to campus resources and facilities. Orientation also features opportunities to explore Metro Vancouver, with visits to well-known landmarks and cultural attractions to help students get familiar with the city.
Orientation is available online or on campus. We provide a full range of student support and offer specialized services to help newcomers adapt to living in Canada and thrive in both their studies and daily life.
Students have access to a variety of sports and recreation facilities located conveniently near Richmond and Vancouver, as well as across the greater Metro Vancouver area.
